Zusammenfassung
Vorlust, eine Lust, die eigentlich noch keine ist, ist eine Form virtueller Realität. Folglich läßt sich die Form virtueller Realität, die die neuen Medien präsentieren, als Vorlust-Zustand dechiffrieren. Wenn Vorlust Ersatz von Lust ist, statt ihr Vorspiel zu sein, findet ein Enteignungsprozeß psychischer Qualitäten statt, in dem sich ökonomische Enteignung mit andern Mitteln fortsetzt. Ort dieser Enteignung ist der alltägliche kulturindustrielle Betrieb.
Summary
Pre-desire, which really is no desire yet, is a form of virtual reality. Therefore, we may decode the form of virtual reality which the new media present as a state of pre-desire. If pre-desire replaces desire instead of being its foreplay, a process of dispossession of psychic qualities takes place in which economical expropriation is continued by other means. The place of this dispossession is the everyday business of cultural industry.
